Cannot Connect To The Receiver

Verify ScreenBeam receiver is ON and connected to the Projector/TV.

Verify the ScreenBeam Ready to Connect is shown on the Projector.

Make sure the name of the receiver you’re trying to connect to matches the receiver name shown on the Projector/TV screen.

If the error message "Couldn't connect" is displayed on the laptop/tablet:

  1. Disconnect the laptop/tablet from the wireless network. If it immediately connects to another network, disconnect again until the laptop/tablet is no longer connected to any wireless networks.
  2. Reconnect to ScreenBeam.
  3. Reconnect to the wireless network.

If the error message “Couldn’t connect. Click here to fix the connection” is displayed on the Windows 8.1 laptop/tablet:

  1. Slide the Charms menu in from the right-hand side of the screen and select Devices, then select Project.
  2. Select "Add a wireless display".
  3. Scroll down to the Projectors list and locate the ScreenBeam receiver that matches the receiver’s name shown on Projector/TV screen.
  4. Select “Remove device” button and then confirm that you wish to remove the list.
  5. Close the PC and Devices window and return to the Windows desktop.
  6. Slide the Charms menu in from the right-hand side of the screen and select Devices, then select Project.
  7. Select "Add a wireless display".
  8. Locate and select the ScreenBeam receiver that matches the receiver’s name shown on Projector/TV screen, and enter the connection PIN to connect.

If the problem persists, contact your IT Administrator for further support.
