How do I update the firmware to my MWTV2TX transmitter?  Will it in turn update the receiver? (current V1.0.2.9)  Thanks!

    Kevin,

According to the firmware upgrade, instructions attached above You must upgrade the firmware on both the receiver(s) and the transmitter in order for the devices to function correctly.

    Dear friend at Tech Support,

I strongly recommend that documentation for the Actiontec MyWirelessTV Video Kit clearly indicates the maximum capacity of the USB flash drive that should be used for upgrading the product firmware.

Firstly I tried to use a 16 GB USB flash drive and the firmware upgrade did not work, possibly because the MyWirelessTV units could not read the flash drive.

Then I tried an old 512 MB USB flash drive and the firmware upgrade worked as described in the instructions.

Possibly the same recommendation applies to most of your products.

    Cheers,

    Cairo Nascimento

    Cairo,

We have verified that up to 8GB flash can be used for upgrading the MWTV200 units. They need to be formatted in in Fat/Fat32 (Fat recommended).
