Just got the screen Beam Mini 2 .  When the device powers up it shows  splash screen for under a second then pink lines then no signal.  It shows up as a widi device but will not connect.  Broken out of the box.  Really disappointed.

    Eric,

There could be several reasons why this occurs, not just because the Mini 2 may be defective. The pink lines indicate an HDCP issue.

Make sure that you are not putting the Mini 2 into the ARC or MHL ports on the tv.

Make sure the power adapter is plugged into the wall outlet and not a USB port on the tv as some TV's do not provide enough power for the Mini 2.

Make sure the device you are trying to connect to the Mini 2 supports Miracast.

If you have further issues please contact our support department at 8884360657 for assistance.

My device used to work well, but started "frying" my micro USB cables. My device crashed (projected picture was static while the projecting device had a moving image) which did not resolve, so I did a manual reset. I noted the device was hot to the touch. The device no longer worked with the original micro USB, so I tried another one for an old phone. The new USB cord worked for a day, and then the device stopped powering (no power light displayed). I noted that both USB cord were consider "slow charge" when hooked up to my phone, which they previously were not. I attempted with one final cord and the power light no longer reacts.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
